Adult Landscape Painting Workshop: Capturing the Beauty of Clouds
8 weeks | 2.5 h / session
Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature through acrylic painting in this 8-week workshop designed for beginner to intermediate adult artists. This course focuses on foundational landscape painting skills, with a special emphasis on colour mixing, understanding light, planning composition, and capturing the natural world with confidence and creativity.
Through live demonstrations and guided hands-on exercises, our instructors will walk students through the acrylic painting process — from the first brushstroke to the final detail. Participants will explore a range of topics including:
- Colour theory and colour mixing for natural palettes
- Identifying light sources and creating atmospheric depth
- Planning strong compositions from reference images
- Brushwork techniques, texture, and layering
- Using abstraction or realism based on individual preference
Students will apply the techniques they’ve learned to create a landscape painting inspired by curated reference images. Throughout the course, students will receive constructive feedback in a supportive, engaging environment.
