Working with traditional dry mediums such as graphite, compressed charcoal, and conté—you’ll learn how to build convincing depth, texture, and form by mastering chiaroscuro, the timeless technique of using dramatic contrasts between light and dark to bring drawings to life. Each week combines guided exercises, live demonstrations, and individual feedback to help you refine your technique and develop your own creative approach.
