- 1-2 completed artworks to be included in portfolio applications
- Techniques for organizing and presenting portfolio content for maximum impact
- Understanding the importance of visual presentation and design principles
- Receiving personalized feedback, critique, and guidance from experienced industry professionals
- Gaining confidence in presenting and discussing your portfolio during interviews or presentations

Meet The Instructor
Ivana Tovilla-Batiz | BFA
Ivana is a graduate with honours and distinction from OCAD University’s Drawing and Painting program, and an RHAS alumna who began her art journey with us over a decade ago. She studied abroad at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) through the AICAD Exchange and has taught students aged 16+ at the Station Gallery in Whitby, as well as younger students for over a year. Ivana brings firsthand experience navigating post-secondary admissions, having been accepted to top institutions such as OCAD (early admission), Parsons NYC, MICA, University of Westminster, and U of T (UTM). With this insight, she helps students strengthen their portfolios, craft compelling applications, and understand what schools are really looking for—giving them a clear edge in the admissions process. Her goal is to equip each student with the tools and confidence they need to succeed and gain acceptance into the programs of their choice.
