Richmond Hill Art School

what our clients have to say about us

“My son started with Richmond Hill Art School when he was only 5 years old. He is loving everything about his second year from the wonderful teachers, different projects, and the freedom to create in a beautiful art studio. As his mom, I am speechless when he comes out of class with a huge smile and artwork that I frame and cherish in our home. I would recommend this studio to all … it’s the best!”

“The owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about Visual Arts. I think this is one reason why our daughter is very engaged. We were looking for an enriched visual arts program for our child and have found the right one here. We are happy to have found this school.”

“I was looking for art classes for my daughter since she showed the passion to drawing and painting. I had really strict criteria for art school, as I believe that art education should start from the academic basics, such as sketches, color theory, composition, volume, shadow and lights, and perspective, and only based on this knowledge to move to different techniques and media.  The Richmond Hill Art School has teachers that give to children not only their knowledge, but also their passion to art. Catherine really enjoys the classes, where techniques gently blend with freedom of creativity.  As a parent, I am really impressed with the quality of education and the work my daughter brings home. I highly recommend Richmond Hill Art School for all creative people, as they have classes not only for children, but also different workshops for adults.”

“Richmond Hill Art School is continuously evolving, bringing in something new every year. We have been with the school for almost 3 years and our son really enjoys his classes. I have observed him improve throughout the years and he is now able to use a variety of techniques in his artwork. A great place to develop creative minds!”

“Our daughter joined Natasha’s art class when she was younger, and now again, in high school as she prepared for her portfolio. Natasha invites teachers of various different expertise to her classes to introduce different techniques and styles of art. She stimulates the students by hosting various art gallery trips so that the artistic experience goes beyond the classroom. She truly cares for each student and makes sure they are having fun while they are young, and focuses on detail and technique as they get older. My daughter was able to explore and develop her artistic skills in her art classes. If you are older and interested in applying to an art school, you must be prepared and take ownership of your portfolio, be organized and know what is required, and have a clear goal of what you want to show in your portfolio.”
