This workshop is designed for young creative minds who want to explore the outdoors and create their very own style cartoon animals. Each student will use their existing artistic knowledge by using cartooning as a way to imitate real-life animals, understand how to use shapes. They will build confidence in drawing while having an enjoyable time painting. Painting fundamentals such as light, shadow, and colour value will be taught. Students will follow a step by step instruction on how to create fun-looking animals, explore the outdoors with their family to locate their favourite scenes, then use them as backgrounds for their finished artwork. At the end of this workshop all students will have a set of 3 painted cartoon animals to proudly display in their home. No previous experience necessary. Led by Rachel Karantayer.
