This is a very helpful course for artists looking to refine their specific style or to start developing one of their own, in the medium of their choice. Instruction will be given to practicing artists or beginner students working in the means of expression that they choose; realism, impressionism, abstraction. Quick and very useful demonstrations will be done in both oil and acrylic.

Whatever the subject in your photograph, – figurative, landscape, still life, wildlife / pets – it can be transformed into a terrific painting. Basic drawing techniques, brushwork, perspective, composition, colour, texture, use of material will be explored. If your painting is not completed by the end of the day, Andrew will follow up by email or phone with artists wishing to get further guidance in taking their piece to a finished state.
