art class fees for 2018-2019

Payment Info

Total fees and various payment plans are calculated upon registration.
Our fees are transparent and calculated based on the number of weeks in the program plus other fees. Payment can be made by cheque, cash, e-mail transfer, or credit card (+2.75%).

Beginners: GRADE 1-3 – 1h 30min $29.00 (no tax)
Juniors: GRADE 3-5 – 1h 30min $29.00 (no tax)
Intermediates: GRADE 5-8 – 2h $38.00 (no tax)
Advanced: GRADE 7-9 – 2h $38.00 (no tax)
Seniors: GRADE 9-12 – 2h 30min $45.00 (no tax)
Private 2 hour sessions $60.00-$100.00 (no tax)

 

Included:

  • Inexpensive art lessons taught by professional artists from GTA. Sessions run once a week from Sept. 10, 2018  to June 16, 2019
  • Evaluation & assessment session: initial meeting and assessment with teacher + trial class
  • Complimentary art gallery trips : 2 complimentary visits per year & guided tours to local art galleries such as McMichael, Varley Gallery, and the AGO. First come first served basis.
  • Art Certificate in June
  • Discounts for camps, birthdays, and space rental

Additional Fees:

  • Personal art kit: sketchbook, sketch pencils, color pencils, brushes, palette knives, color wheels, ink pens, etc. $60-$80.
  • Yearly materials fee: all acrylic paints, paper, quality canvases, brushes, charcoal, palettes, water-colour paper, etc. $150 per year.
  • Program Length

    This 9-month program runs from September 10, 2018 to June 16, 2019. We do accept students on an ongoing basis, and the tuition can be pro-rated based on the date you join. See school schedule.

    Special Discounts

    • Take more than one class a week and your second class is 20% off.
    • Bring a friend to our school and get 5% off referral discount, unless other discounts applied. 
    • Sibling discount for second child is 10% off, unless other discounts applied.

    Withdrawal & Missed Class Policy

    Withdrawal from the program within 4 classes will receive a full refund of the unused portion, minus administration fee ($20.00). Withdrawal between 4-6 weeks you get 50% of your unused tuition back. No refunds will be accepted after 6 sessions.
    Only requests with a medical certificate or proof of relocation will be considered.

    If case of missed sessions due to illness or religious holidays, 1 (one) make up classes per term for a total of 3 make up classes.
